Easter Monday! A trip to Pukekohe!

Today Flat Shea came with us to Visit Breeana's Nanni in Pukekohe. (Pook -ee -ko -he)  It is about an hours drive from where we live.
Nanni made us all a lovely lunch including some yummy rasberry swirl easter cupcakes.  Flat Shea loved those!

Every Year Nanni makes us a new Easter toy or decoration - This Year she made us this very cute Bunny with a basket full of Easter eggs.  Looks like Flat Shea has made a new friend.

Flat Shea Loved playing in Nanni's Toy box!

Nanni's House is always full of teddy bears, and Flat Shea discovered Nanni's Calendar.....

To get to Nanni's house we  have to travel over the Auckland Harbour Bridge......

We decided to take a detour and stop at Northcote Point which shows the Harbour Bridge and the Auckland Sky Tower.  The Sky tower  is tallest Man-made structure in the Southern Hemisphere..  Can you see it in the pictures?

ON the way to Nannis House Flat Shea saw some Funny place names on the signs as we were driving....  See if you can say them....

Papakura -
Paerata
Otahuhu
Papatoetoe
Manurewa

Pronounce them like this -
Pa Pa Koo Ra
Pie Ra Ta
O  ta  Hoo Hoo
Pa Pa Toy Toy
Man U Reee Wah
